Helping my aunt fight colon cancer
Donation protected
Hello my name is Yalanda, my aunt is fighting colon cancer and I need your help! In January 2017 my Aunt Deborah Huddleston felt pain in her stomach which caused her to make an appointment to see the doctor. The doctor performed a colonoscoy and discovered a large tumor in her colon that "looked cancerous".
The doctor decided she needed surgery immediatly to remove the tumor, surgery was scheduled for Februrary 20,2017 On that day we all prepared for the surgery (family and friends) as the day went on, the surgery took twice as long as it was suppose to.
After surgery the doctor took us all to a private area (family and close friends) to tell us my aunt had stage 4 colon cancer, needless to say we were all devistated. There after she recieved the news as well. She took it hard...we all did because we were not expecting this news.
Instead of feeling down and depressed, we decided that we were going to fight this. She was told by the doctor she would need 12 rounds of chemo and with a positive mind and plenty of back up, she went though the process. Everything was looking very good. After the 11 round of Chemo they discovered that the cancer had spread to her ovary and uterus. Now she is scheduled for surgery on January 17,2018 this time around the doctors are unsure of how long the recovery process will be.
My aunt is self employed so financially she will need help. Even with insurance the medical bills have become a financial burden. From doctors bills and insurance co-pays , travel costs and lost wages her savings has been completely wiped out. She is the sole bread winner of her household. Im not only asking for donations, I'm asking for lots of prayers. She is loved by many and she needs you at this time! PLEASE HELP US TO SHARE THIS MESSAGE AND PRAY FOR A SPEEDY RECOVERY!!!!
