In November 2013, I was selected to participate in the Canadian National Team's track development program. It was 2 weeks of hard training, good racing, and exceptionally valuable experience.
The National Team has chosen a select group of athletes to move forward to the next camp, that will take place during most of January 2014. Here, they will identify the final group of athletes who will be taken forward into the permanent program. The final goal : have a solid team pursuit team for the 2016 Olympics.
I am SO glad to have been chosen to continue in the program. However, this 2nd and final step that is partially self-funded. The cost is quite significant. But I'm adamant about finding a way to get back on the track in L.A. and giving it my best shot...
Thank you for everyone who made step 1 possible for me. And thank you for everyone who believes in me and wishes to help me get to step 2. We earned this chance together! I truly believe this can happen...
