National Board Teacher Certification

Hi friends and family,

I'm using this website to help me raise money to pay for my National Board Teacher Certification (http://www.nbpts.org). The program encourages the development of professional educators to examine our practice and improve upon it in order to provide an educational environment aimed at academic excellence.

This is a time-consuming and expensive process, which is why I'm asking for some financial assistance. I've already been awarded a scholarship from Sandia Labs that will pay for about half the program, but the remainder of the financial responsibility will be on mine and Caroline's shoulders.

I can assure all of you that I have made several arrangements to lessen the responsibilities that I've taken on for the next semester to ensure adequate time to write, prepare, and create a structure of success in which to work on this rigorous career opportunity for myself and my students.
