Surgery for Athena

Athena is a 1 1/2 yr old Chihuahua mix. 8 months ago she was having a hard time chewing so I took her to the vet right away. They sedated her, looked in her mouth and x ray her. The vets findings was that she got stung. The Dr couldn't explain why she also had a fowl smell in her mouth. He put her on prednisone and sent her home. She was fine for a couple of weeks, but the the pain came back. I decided to take her to a different vet to get a second opinion, that Dr said she had to many white blood cells in her head so once again she was put on prednisone. She was on prednisone for a month with the second vet. So then July 4th weekend, she was so much in pain she wouldn't eat or drink, we rushed her to medvet in Columbus. They pushed antibiotics in her, pain meds and fluids. She was still in bad shape and blind in her left eye when they sent her home July 5th from the infection trying to escape somewhere. July 6 I had to run her to a local vet cause she was in bad shape, they kept her overnight, I went to visit her July 7 and she looked good so I brought her home. Athena has seen 2 other vets since then, a total of 4, all misdiagnosing her. We now have her diagnosis thanks to medvet and $8000.00+ dollars later. She has a lower left mandible bone infection. She needs a part of her mandible removed (the infected part). The infection she has is a very hard to get rid of, infact it's almost impossible to cure. She was on injections for a month which was $500.00 dollars, she needs more which we are going to pick up to start again for another month until I can find the money for her surgery. Without this surgery she will die from the infection. I've maxed out 3 credit cards including care credit. She's getting treated at medvet in Columbus Ohio. They have all her information on file. Please help pay for her surgery so she can live a happy healthy life with her human family.
