Patty's journey to recovery

This is my sister Patricia Damian-Silva. On April 16^th 2013 she was diagnosed with Stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer (very aggressive). She is a mother of one and recently married Carlos Silva.
June 16^th, 2013 "“ Patty decided with her family and as well as the advice of her doctors to move forward with a double mastectomy and while in surgery they discovered other tumors. With this aggressive form of breast cancer they decided to seek treatment right away, and started chemotherapy on July 11, 2013. She went in for treatment twice a week but on October 2^nd and 3^rd Patty ended up in the ER due to complications with her medication and chemotherapy. Happy to say that on October 22, 2013 Patty completed her chemotherapy treatments. Patty told me that this experience has been much more difficult, physically and emotionally, than she ever imagined.
My sister is scheduled for reconstruction surgery on the 21^st of January and in order to remove her tumors they'll have to schedule a hysterectomy.
We are raising money for unforseen out of pocket expenses due to the cancellation of her insurance from her current employer. To quote my sister "IT'S GOING TO TAKE MORE THAN BREAST CANCER TO TAKE ME OUT! I WON'T GIVE UP, AND I WON'T GIVE IN!"
