Jake\'s Total Hip Replacement

Jake is my 5 year old, 100lb pit, lab, mastiff mix. He was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at 6 months and has had two major surgeries because of it. Last summer we had a TPLO plate installed in his right leg which averaged out at about $6500 when it was done.
This summer, his hips are finally shot. I\'m trying to get as many people as I can to donate $1.00 each. Jake\'s left hip has finally deteriorated to the point of bone-on-bone contact. He can\'t walk around the block without stopping to rest. Vet orders he cannot go play at dog park, no hi-impact play and only short, slow walks up hills. We need to exercise his right repaired leg that is now showing signs of muscle atrophy as he\'s shifting weight to compensate for pain.
This is financially out of pocket - \"hereditary\" even with insurance. Vet recommended 3 months of dog physical therapy @ $130 a session or the package deal of $2300 in no way can happen as can the total hip replacement which runs about $5,000 to$6000.
