For 13 years Skylight Quartet has continued their mission to present the gospel through music to a lost world and to encourage and engage Christians in their daily walk while maintaining a quality, professional sound. Our mission has always been to go where the Lord wants us to go and let Him provide for day to day group financial obligations and needs. God has always provided spiritually and financially.
Recently while discussing group prayer needs with a local pastor one of our group members mentioned a serious prayer request. For the past 13 years Skylight has been using equipment the better part of 15 to 30 years old. We move this sound equipment with a 16-foot, dual axle trailer. After much prayer and research, we found that modernizing our equipment would alleviate the stress of worrying about the system at each concert. We would also be able to downsize trailer size saving time and money. The gas savings from concert to concert alone would be phenomenal.
During the conversation the pastor mentioned that not allowing our ministry partners to know of this need and allowing them to participate was robbing them of their blessing. For the very first time, Skylight Quartet has developed a Go Fund Me page to give our ministry partners like you the opportunity to assist us in upgrading our sound equipment and trailer. It is our intention to sell as much of the old equipment as possible and to sell our current 16-foot trailer.
We believe that our first obligation is to give to the Lord what is the Lord’s. Second is our financial obligation to our families we would expect no less from you our followers but, if you would like to invest with us and come along side us in this ministry No financial gift is too small. Whether you are able to give financially or not, we appreciate your continued prayer support for our ministry moving into 2020.
