Please Help Our Father, Miguel Gonzalez

Our father loved to ride his motorcycle! About a year and a half ago a driver took that privilege away from him when she went into oncoming traffic and slammed into him, head on. The result of the accident left him with a compound fracture and a bone in his ankle completely shattered. He has been living in extreme pain ever since. Due to the location of the break, even all the metal they put in to hold his ankle together has crumbled and he is left at square one. His options are to either get multiple surgeries that his doctor says may not even help or to get his leg amputated; which would finally relieve his agonizing pain. In order for him to due such, his doctor told him he needs a prosthetic, which of course his insurance does not cover. A basic prosthetic ranges between $5,000-$10,000.
Our father is a great person, with a big heart that wouldn't think twice about helping someone in need. And if he couldn't, he would at least try. Please help us to help our father return to a normal life where he doesn't have to prepare himself mentally before every step that he takes.
