Help me make ends meet

Many of my friends and family know that I have spent the last few months battling cancer. I have been blessed with a great suport network and lots of love. People have provided food, clothing and time to help my family and I as I recover. I was also lucky enough to get MediCal just before being hospitalized, having my spleen removed and being diagnosed with cancer. So the big expenses are mostly covered for now.    But between the added expense of travel while I was hospitalized in the bay area, the regular trips to and from chemo and doctors apointments, my need for a slightly more specialized diet and medical precautions, and my inability to work currently, I have been having a harder time keeping up with some of my basic expenses and bills. Yvonne's income covers our mortgage, child care costs and most utilities, but things have been more tight for us without me being able to contribute.    I have been asked by a few folks who want to help out but don't live near me  what they can do or if I have a way for them to donate so I have created this account with no expectations and lots of gratitude.
