Service dog

My name is Mary Thayer. I'm a type one diabetic on an insulin pump. I have been a diabetic for 40 years. Because of the length of time that I've been diabetic, I am now at the point where I can not tell when I am low or high. After researching and speaking to people, I found that a service dog can help me manage my blood sugars. I have lost family members under the age of 60 because of diabetes. I am trying to prevent this by hoping to get a service dog. I would appreciate any help that you can give me. The total cost of receiving a trained service dog is $15,000. To get a dog, I need $2,500 for a deposit. Then the dog is trained for 6-8 months. At the time that I receive the dog, I need to pay and additional $5,000. After the dog and I receive our training I have 2 years to pay the balance of $7,500. I know there are a lot of people that request money and I'm from the old school where you do for yourself and I have tried to raise the funds but am having a difficult time. Again , I appreciate any help that you can give me. Thank you.
