My mother and I worked with Christopher for 5 years during the height of his career, supporting his endeavors by, among other things, running a highly successful fan club. At the close of his competitive career, we worked one entire summer on what was to be his autobiography. Although it was never finished, we thought often of Christopher and the inevitable, "What might have been..."
My mother passed away on January 9th of 2008; Christopher died the very next day. While cleaning the house after her passing, I happened upon the audiotapes we had made so many years earlier. After listening to the tapes, I resolved to complete the project no matter what it took.
For most of my life, I have been writing and have always dreamed of publishing a book. Many of you will remember that I have been devoting time and talent to this endeavor for over 5 years. Now is the time!
While I am respectfully asking a donation of $20 to cover the cost of publishing and distribution, a gift of any amount will be most welcome. The immediate goal is to cover the cost of pulishing 100 books. Will you help? May I please ask you to consider lending your support in lifting this project off the launching pad? Thank you.
