TRAGEDY STRIKES LOCAL FAMILY
Donation protected
On Dec 4, 2013, a local family experienced a horrific tragedy while on their way back from South Carolina, where they had spent Thanksgiving with their family. While driving back, they reached terrible road conditions in Iowa, where the driver, 55 year old David Browder, lost control of the vehicle. It rolled multiple times before coming to a stop on its side on the opposite side of the road. Seconds later their vehicle was hit by a semi-truck who was unable to stop due to the poor road conditions. The vehicle was occupied by father David Browder, daughter Nicole Browder, brother Cameron Browder, and a good family friend. During the roll Cameron was ejected from the vehicle and sustained serious injuries to his back. The family friend was seriously hurt, and Nicole miraculously walked away with no physical injuries. David Browder however did not survive. He was trapped in the vehicle and died at the scene. This family now faces major financial difficulties in trying to pay all the final expenses, medical bills, and transportation home. Please help this family feel one less burden during this unfortunate time. Thank you, and God bless!
