Kasey Crandall Celebration of Life Fund
Donation protected
Kasey Ann Crandall, 54, passed away suddenly in her home
on December 6th. Kasey was born in California and came to the East
Coast with her family, attended Southern High School in Anne Arundel County and
Towson University. As part of the restaurant and hospitality industries, she
worked on both the East and West coast. She spent more than a decade in San Diego, CA and
another decade in the Ocean Pines area making people smile and laugh. Most recently she was the beloved bartender at
Denovo's Trattoria.
Kasey's spirit and laughter was contagious to all she met. She loved the outdoors, boating, fishing, and to be surrounded by lots of people and, of course, loud rock and roll. She lived life to the fullest, cared more for others than herself, and had a way of making people laugh so hard it hurt.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Kasey's memory to provide a local family with a joyous Christmas under the direction of Worcester County G.O.L.D's Helping Hands for the Holidays program. Christmas was Kasey's favorite holiday and on Christmas eve she would always ask "Can't we just open one small present? Please?!" She was also known to shake all the presents under the tree to try and guess what they were, even if the presents were marked for someone else. Christmas seemed to amplify Kasey's already enormous heart which she would top off with costumes and fabulous accessories.
Private services will be held by the family with a public Celebration of Her Life on Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 1-4pm at Denovo's
in Ocean Pines.
Thank you in advance for helping us keep Kasey's Christmas Spirit alive. Merry Christmas to all!
