Gail's Fight Against Breast Cancer

Our dear friend Gail is going through, what a lot of us will never understand. For those of you that don't know all the details of what is happening with Gail , here is her story...
Gail has been off work since June 2013 after discovering a lump in her breast by a mammogram. After many tests, biopsies and multiple doctor appointments, Gail was diagnosed with HER2 Breast Cancer, which is a very aggressive form of cancer. Gail had her first Chemo treatment November 7th and just recently completed her second treatment on November 27th, with many more up the road to come.
Gail is a single mom of 2 kids, Dylan and Abby. Dylan and Abby recently lost their Dad unexpectedly a week before Gail was diagnosed. This has been very hard on the kids as well as for Gail. To add to the stress, Abby has been in and out of the hospital with Pancreatitis within the last year, and was just recently admitted again this month. It is challenging for Gail to visit her daughter in the hospital due to her low immunity and was advised she should not enter the hospital due to the high risks of infection and for her health.
Christmas can be a very difficult time for anyone, but for Gail, she has had unexpected medical expenses added to monthly bills. Gail was on short term disability and was just recently taken off as she has reached the maximum benefit, and is now awaiting approval for Medical EI that is also not long term and will soon end.
With Christmas just around the corner we are holding this fundraiser to help Gail during this extremely hard time for her and her family. For those of you that know Gail, she is a dedicated Mom, a loving care taker for the elderly for over 15 years and a loyal friend.
Together as a community, lets show our support towards Gail's fight against this terrifying disease. Any donation is greatly appreciated and would love to hear any stories, memories, and kind words you would like to share on behalf of Gail.
