Kidney Transplant For Timmy Fund

Timmy went into kidney failure in 2015 and has been awaiting a kidney since. He is on the list for Oschner’s in Louisiana. Sacred Heart here in Florida has recently started a transplant program. The physicians have told him that he is a prime candidate for transplant. To become active on their list he will have to have a substantial amount up front for anti-rejection meds and other medical expenses. That portion is what insurance does not cover. There will also be a loss of household income due to missing work to care for him after his transplant, as well as any additional costs to transport him to the many doctors appointments that will follow transplant.
