Lindsey's Medical Fund

Lindsey has been diagnosed with a rare autoimmune vasculititis disorder called Polyarteritis Nodoso, or P.A.N.  It has attacked several organs over the years causing damage.

Lindsey has required several emergency room visits since the first of the year that turned into admissions to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester. She has been airlifted by helicopter twice and transported by ambulance several times from Mankato to Rochester’s St. Mary’s Hospital.  Lindsey has been hospitalized 30+ days since the first of the year. She has endured emergency bowel surgery and damage to her kidneys. While Lindsey’s condition is grave and incurable, her disease has the capability to go into remission and has done so in the past.

 Doctors are treating Lindsey aggressively and are making every effort for Lindsey’s disease to go into remission. Remission must take place before repairs are made to her intestines. Repairing her intestines will allow Lindsey to take full advantage of her medication regimen. 

 Lindsey has not been able to work for a long time. Mounting bills of day-to-day living as well as thousands of dollars in medical deductibles are weighing heavily upon Lindsey. It is the goal of Lindsey's friends and family to alleviate the financial burden so Lindsey’s only necessary focus is her medical well being and remission of her grave condition.
