Pray for baby Vince

Little Vince Gonzalez is like any other mischievous two year old boy, until December 2nd 2013 when he was rushed to the emergency room. He loves to follow his older brother and sister Javier and Divina around everywhere, wanting to do whatever they do. He repeats whatever his dad, big Vince, says and always wants his mom Michaela's attention when she's holding his baby brother Alex. The family has experienced challenges such as this in the past. His brother Javier was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia when he was little Vince's age. It was a long successful road, and Javier has been cancer free and completed his chemo for over three years. When little Vince started to display similar symptoms as Javier, Michaela became concerned and had him examined. However, Leukemia can be hard to diagnose and easily missed, which is exactly what happened. Little Vince was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia at the emergency room early Monday morning. He was experiencing a series of strokes that caused blood clots in his brain. Not knowing this, he was rushed to Denver Children's Hospital from Colorado Springs. The Leukemia is treatable and little Vince is responding to chemo, but the strokes caused bleeding and swelling in his developing brain and is the main concern at the moment. The family is not losing hope and continuing to pray fervently for little Vince to regain consciousness and the restoration of his health.
