Kyle Landon Dean Honorary Fund
Donation protected
On August 6, 2014 Kyle Dean was killed when a truck and trailer pulled in front of his motorcycle when he was riding home.
Kyle was 27 and fiercely loyal to friends and family and enormously generous. His parents, older brother Kevin, girlfriend Jessica, dog Diesel and countless other loved ones were devastated by the loss.Though this young man left the world far too swiftly, he was an avid fan of motorcycle riding, having grown up riding with his brother and good friends.
According to Georgia Motorcycle Safety: "Motorcyclist fatalities increased in 2012 to 4,957, accounting for 15 percent of total fatalities for the (2014) year. This increase in motorcycle fatalities continues a tragic trend over the last 15 years, which only saw a one-year decline in 2009."
The many people Kyle touched with his huge heart is unquantifiable. As an organ donor, his death actually helped save or drastically improve the lives of those waiting for organs. But his family and friends hope his life can touch even more people with efforts to educate drivers and raise awareness about motorcycle safety.
