Help Sophia Beat Aplastic Anemia!

This is a picture of of my wife Sophia and myself on our wedding day on May 11, 2013.
On October 24, 2013 her doctor called her saying that her routine blood test showed extremely low numbers in all her blood components and to go to the emergency room. Imagine our shock as Sophia had only complained of feeling tired and needing a vacation! She was admitted and diagnosed with a rare disease, Aplastic Anemia. On November 18th, Sophia began chemotherapy. She was admitted on Thanksgiving for serum sickness; a common side effect after chemotherapy. But here she is being silly for her webcam after overcoming that setback:
That thing in her arm is Phineas Irving Cortez Cordoba aka PICC; a catheter for blood draws and transfusions.
It'll be an year before we know if the treatment work before we move to Plan B; a bone marrow transplant.
This fundraiser is for the stuff not covered by medical insurance. Buying purifiers for our apartment. Co-payments. Cab Fare ad parking garage fees because Sophia can't ride public transit with a compromised immune system. All the little things to give her a decent quality of life so Sophia can beat this thing!
