I'm  Caoimhe I'm also 12yrs old and Áine's cousin. My mum was diagnosed with jaw and mouth cancer in October.

Both our mum's are undergoing cancer treatments at present and luckily both should recover well.

We want to make sure all cancer patients become cancer survivors by raising money for cancer research.

We promise  to walk 5 kilometres  every day for 30 days.  Please help by donating and sharing this link.

We have reached the end of our journey in our very first fundraiser.  It has been an exciting, busy, energetic and at times an emotional journey. Whilst we know it doesn't  end for our families  here, we are very proud of ourselves in what we have achieved to help cancer research  in finding a cure for Cancer. Our Mums will continue their journey  in recovering  from their individual illnesses.  We will be with them all they way and help them in every way we can. A big thank you to our parents  James  and Catriona,  Paul and Brid for all your encouragement  and love. A big thank you to our siblings Ronan, Finn, Brian, Fía and Ódhran, thank you for coming and supporting us on our walks. To Our Walking buddies Edelle, and Creena for all the different  walks we went on also a big thank you.To our Mum's , we hope you both get well and get back to full health soon. We know it has been so traumatic  and extremely difficult for both ye and our families. We love ye so much. To everyone  who has donated a sincere big thank you from our hearts and you will all be in our thoughts and prayers forever. I think ye really understood  our fundraiser  and how much it meant to us. We know the sprint is over for our Mum's  and our families and the marathon begins for them. With all of your kind donations we will someday find a cure for this awful illness and have more cancer survivors. Our chosen charities are 1)Cancer Research  UK, 2)Irish Cancer Research and  3)Circle of friends in Tipperary Town. We wanted to raise the funds for cancer research  as we  want and believe that we will see more cancer survivors. We also chose Circle of Friends as they are very close to our  families and help look after so many people  in Tipperary and surrounding  areas

Our dad's  James  and Paul will look after the cheques for each recipient  and will post the updates for same. To my dads old school Scoil Chaitriona  in Cappamore Co.Limerick who raised a massive €586  as part of the fundraiser again shows the generosity and kindness shown to our families. We give you all our best wishes and thank you all once again.  Big virtual hugs and kisses  Áine and  Caoimhe.My Dad Paul (Brid's husband and Catriona's brother in law) will be withdrawing the funds to his personal account  and in turn will sort the three cheques for the three beneficiaries.  We will contact each of them individually  and if possible  within current guidelines deliver them personally.
