Jacob Anzaldua's Accident Relief

Early in the morning of May 6, 2018, Jacob Anzaldua (or Dj, or Dewey depending on how you know him) was in a very serious car accident. He sustained serious injuries, particularly to his “C” 6-7 Vertebrae. They shifted and are putting pressure on his spinal chord causing paralysis to all his lower extremities. The doctors were successful in realigning them thus far - which is a wonderful sign! However, we are sad to report that as of now he is paralyzed and has limited movement and feeling below his chest. We continue to pray for the continued improvements. Last night he was able to slightly move one of his thumbs so we are very hopeful for continued progress. He is breathing on his own since the accident which is great news and also a huge indicator of just how strong Jacob, DJ, Dewey is and how our prayers are being answered. His family asks for your continued prayers and well wishes. As friends, we are asking for any amount of support you may be able to offer in relieving a portion of the current, and future, enormous financial burden being placed on his family. Dj had no insurance at the time of the accident and has a very long and tough road ahead of him but he is a very strong young man and we are confident that with prayer and the help of his many loving friends and family things will continue looking up! I will continue to update everyone here as we find out more information on the prognosis.
