Autism Service Dog For Wyatt

Donation protected
We are currently working to raise money to supply our son Wyatt with a service dog specialized for autism. Wyatt has been diagnosed with moderate to severe autism accompanied by ADHD, Echolalia, and Hyperlexia which greatly means effects his concentration and speech. To look at him you would never know he had a problem but when people try to talk to him, that is when they either recognize his autism or label him rude or strange. In addition, the Echolalia causes him to repeat everything said to him and the ADHD makes it hard for his brain to shut down for sleeping or anything else. To say the least Wyatt has sleep issues and trouble sitting in one place for to long. Hyperlexia is when a child learns to read at a young age but can’t comprehend what they are reading. We believe the autism service dog is one of the missing pieces in Wyatt’s life to make it easier for him to function. The primary goal is to keep Wyatt safe by redirecting him away from hazards such as inappropriate wandering or running towards the street. If Wyatt should become separated from a care provider the service dog will be trained to stay with Wyatt as a companion at all times. Other benefits will include the ability to calm Wyatt down and help avoid his STEMs. Also the curiosity of others about the service dog will create social interaction that encourage Wyatt to engage with his peers.
Thank you for considering us as the nonprofit you decide to give to.

Wyatt and all of us thank you for any help and prayers you can provide.

God bless you all!
