Rozie’s Dream Food Truck

Donation protected
Hello!
My name is Roslina Matthews, and I am the owner of Rozie’s Kitchen

I’ve been self-established since January 2021 and the journey has been a rollercoaster. Between losing my job and HBB (home base business) I moved to the United States from Malaysia back in 2008 so I have no family here. Baking and cooking is my therapy when I get homesick or have a bad day but I love feeding people. Everyone told me to open a restaurant but money is a problem.

Rozie’s Kitchen serves baked goods under cottage law and operating a food truck will allow me to focus on both cooking and baking.

The Asian community makes up a mere 1.73% of the population in Louisiana. Asian owned business percentages are even lower. We would like to change that. We understand the hardship of feeling marginalized. Whether it be from being women, LGBTQ, Hispanic and black community etc, we would like to close the gaps and share our foods with our family. The Louisiana community is our family.
