Trying to hold on..

Hi friends, family, and anyone reading. As a lot of you know I suffered a a stroke at the beginning of March that left me hospitalized for almost two months. But I’m thankful. I’m still here. And I have a lot to be thankful for. I’m home now. I’m ahead of schedule with my progress. My speech is getting back to where it should be, and even though I have to walk with a cane I’m hoping to walk on my own before the end of June. All things the doctors weren’t sure I would be able to do this early. I’m very grateful for these blessings. I’m writing you today because I thought I had things in place that would take care of things through August. I found out now that I don’t. The money that I arranged to borrow has now gone away, and left me in quite the pickle. I’ve got my rent paid up though the end of May. After that I’m out of money. And honestly I have no place to go. I’ve started my rehab at home, and am working with a social worker to try, and get my social security benefits started. But that is going to take much longer than I thought. I need your help. I wouldn’t have made it this far without the help of friends. Thank you so much! And I am asking for your help one more time. Anything that you can do would go a long way with helping me pay rent, Buy food, and medication, and survive until I get my social security benefits. I thought of going back to work. But the doctors are worried I’ll have another stroke. So I really can’t. So once again anything that you can give I really would appreciate. You’d be buying me the time to heal, and buying me the time to get back on my feet. Thank you for whatever you can do.
