Nia's South African Veterinary Safari

Those of you who know me...know my passion and love of animals. For those of you who may not know me, I am Nia Dean. I am a high school senior, studying Animal Science at Arizona Agribusiness and Equine Center. Next fall, I plan to attend college and then Medical School to become a veterinarian. I have an amazing opportunity to work on safari animals in South Africa. I would like to participate in the South Africa Veterinary Safari's and Ulovane Environmental Training which takes place in May of 2014. Funds are needed to cover program fees, transportation, vaccinations and international health insurance. However, I need your help.

I have a very supportive family, however with graduation and college, just around the corner, this opportunity will not be possible without the assistance and donations of others.

I have been very fortunate, during my high school career, to work on many domestic and farm animals such as; dogs, cats, horses, cows, sheep etc. I am also currently training a service dog, through the Foundation for Service Dog Support which, upon completion of the program, will be provided to a deserving injured or retired veteran or law enforcement member .
