This summer I am traveling to the United Kingdom with 30 other GCU students and staff to take part of God's great plan. For ten days, starting in late May, my team and I will be traveling throughout the UK working alongside a local church and university to expand the Gospel in the urban city. We will be mainly in Wales and London throughout the trip, being immersed in their culture and sharing the Good News.
While God has opened up a door for me to develop a greater heart of compassion for His people around the world, the exciting part is that you will be able to share in this compassion for His people in several ways. First, you can help pray for me and the rest of the team. We will need prayers that God will prepare us for our visit and bless our efforts as we minister to the people in the U.K. We will also need prayers that our financial needs will be met. At this time we will need to raise $2500 each to attend this trip, and that is quite the challenge.
Another way you can be involved is to help provide financial giving. I understand that times are hard and that money is tight, but even the smallest gift matters and is a great blessing.
