For My Mother

Hi, friends!

I hope you are all staying safe, that you are happy, healthy, and prosperous.

If you know me, you may know that my beloved mother (the strongest, most wonderful human I know) has been very ill and fighting for her life for many years.

Unfortunately, no amount of doctor's visits (of all kinds) has been able to help her. On the contrary - we find that we keep walking away heartbroken, frustrated, and with less hope each time, especially when those we've gone to for help see nothing wrong with her, and proceed to blame her for her current state and call her crazy, instead.
These conditions have completely drained the life out of this tank of a woman.

For my 27th birthday, I'm doing a fundraiser to help my mother, any way I can - whether that means getting her the treatment she needs or taking her to a safe place where she can live in peace for however long she has.

I know the world is absolutely insane at the moment and that our entire lives have been turned upside-down. But I have the faith and hope that love and compassion can conquer all.
