Family Left Without a Mom
Donation protected
My name is Carrie Perkins and I am the PTA Vice President at Hightower Elementary in Doraville, GA. A few weeks ago, I was touched to hear about a man, Juan Gonzalez, who lost his wife, Mariana, to cancer. Being a young family, he was left to take care of 3 children, a 7th grader, a 4th grader, and a 2nd grader.
Having been hit with the loss of his wife, he now is having to support his family all on his own. Because he wanted his wife burried in Mexico, much of the money they had went towards making arrangements for her funeral service to be held in her hometown. He and his 3 children now need money to live.
There is something so beautiful in seeing people rally around a family that has been through so much.
Thank you so much for donating, even the littlest bit you can. We at Hightower Elementary cannot wait to see how this could change their lives!
THANK YOU!
