Todd Wright Recovery

Todd Wright is fighting a tough battle in the hospital. He had an infection in his blood that has gone into the bones of his foot. Along with the pain, fever and difficulty from the infection, he had to have multiple surgeries, with a major surgery that led to a partial foot amputation in order to keep the infection from spreading further and jeopardizing his life. Impending surgeries are likely needed to repair his foot and/or fight infection/complications if, unfortunately, they return.

He has a long road for a full recovery. Needless to say, this is a very tough time on the family.   His wife Kari is busy caring for their 2 autistic daughters, while trying to also spend time with Todd. Todd is his family's only source of income.

Todd has had a lengthy career in physically demanding positions as a prison corrections officer and security. Now Todd's health issues will keep him out of work for a while. Todd will need extensive post hospital medications and physical therapy equipment that his insurance won't fully cover. With these new medical challenges, the family is now faced at trying to pay these expenses on top of their mortgage, bills and necessities. 

Many people have been touched by Todd's service to his country, friendship, caring, and helping hand over the years.  He has been involved in his kids' schools, work and community.  His wife Kari donates her time three mornings a week to helping with the school breakfast program, as well as other functions for their daughters and their schools.

This is going to be a long and expensive process for Todd, so the goal is to raise $6000.00, more if possible.
