Help Pay Off Medical Expenses

I just learned about a very selfless act my friend did for her family in Mexico.  After her family was in a horrible accident they had no way to pay the medical bill, and Carlota told me they don't let you out of the hospital in Mexico until the bill is paid. The whole family, father, mother, and children were hospitalized for a time. The father could not earn money while in the hospital and they didn't have the $8,000 to pay the bill. 

If you knew, Carlota you would not be surprised at what she did.  She got a loan against her home for $8,000 and paid the bill for her family. 

She works at my school as an instructional aide, and she is always looking for ways to earn extra money. The reason, she wants to pay off that loan of $8,000.  She doesn't expect her family to repay her, because they just have enough money to live on.

I want to help her pay off that loan by starting this Go Fund Me fundraiser. She is such a giving person, she loves all the students, and goes way beyond the extra mile in many cases. Let's help relieve her of the entire bill. That is why I set the lofty goal of $8,000. 

I would like to have this all wrapped up before Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving seems appropriate, because Carlota gives so much of herself, and I want us to show our thankfulness for her. Even if you don't know Carlota and you were a stranger, she would help you in any way she could. That is the kind of lady Carlota is. Let's show her we appreciate her generosity by being very generous in our donations.
