Bucks To Benefit The Bowers

Hi everyone- my name is Jenn Burnett and my husband Corey and I are setting up this Go Fund Me account for our dear friends the Bowers. About 7 months ago Trish made a selfless decision to step down from her full time job to become her mothers primary caregiver. Trish's mom suffers from Alzheimer's and is currently under Hospice care. This has been a sacrifice for the entire Bowers family. To watch Dave, Trish, Sofia and Liv care for Carol is amazing. I also have to point out that Trish would have never been able to do this without the countless friends and neighbors who have stepped up to sit with, change and purchase supplies for Carol. Trish is so blessed to have a community that is helping her with her moms care. About 10 days ago their youngest daughter Olivia(14) was having abdominal pain. To make a long story short her appendix has perforated and she is currently in Johns Hopkins Hospital. There have been multiple complications and right now it appears Olivia will need to be there at least another week. She will also be in need of another surgery to remove the actual appendix in 4-6 weeks after they get the terrible infection she has under control. This has created a lot of stress on Dave and Trish from many angles and we would love to help them out. It can be as simple as donating some money for gas, parking and food for the traveling to and from Hopkins daily to helping them cover the medical bills that will start arriving after Liv is home. Their budget is already tight with Trish deciding to quit her job so with this unexpected bump in the road any bit will be a blessing.
