Ms. Cadence Heart Surgery

Ms Cadence is your typical 9 year old. Is into things like Roblox, youtube, anything slime, drawing/painting and shopping. Her favorite store as of now is Michael's. Currently has her eye on those fancy .01 drawing pens. When Cadence was born she developed murmur that she didn't "grow out of". In her 9 years of life she has had 2 heart surgeries. She has yet to make it to yearly cardiology appointments. The most time inbetween appointments has been 6 monthes. A year ago we went to her six month follow up optimistic for no news. This time her arotic stenosis had advanced from mild to moderate. She would need to be presented to the surgery board down in Seattle. Her cardiologist wanted to see her ever 3 monthes now and put her on physical restrictions. Which was hard for Cadence since her school had alot of fun activities starting for rest of the year. When they presented her case they opted to keep current course of action and let Cadence grow more. At her last 3 month follow up we were told she is at point of needing to be presented to the surgery board again. We heard back from her cardiologist last month. With her increased pressure on the right side of her heart, never seen in her before, and her arotic stenosis borderline severe; surgery board recommended to move forward with the procedure. Cadence and myself will be flying down to Seattle for her third heart surgery. Her dad will be joining us on April 16th and her brother will be with their grandparents, Cynthia and Howard. Her surgery is planned for 18th after her heart cathe results from the 16th are reviewed. We are seeking any assistance during this time. I will be off of work for a month to help Cadence mend post-op. Her dad will be taking a week off work to be with us during the most stressful part. With travel expenses, providing for our son while he stays in Anchorage, and keeping up with our regular household expenses has proven to be very stressful.
