Pedaling for Progress in Ghana, Africa

I am Brian Hall from Newark, OH. We will be holding a bike-a-thon/walk-a-thon on May 4h to raise funds for water projects in Ghana. Pedalingforprogress.com. I will be bringing a team from our Church to Northern Ghana in June 2019. Our goal is to drill 3 new water wells, build new water storage cisterns, and repair broken pumps on existing wells. On average, people in Africa walk over 3 miles to get water for drinking, cleaning, cooking, etc. We are trying to make life a bit better for our brothers and sisters in Northern Ghana. All funds raised will go directly to the new wells. The cost to drill a well, install the casing, and the pump is 15,000 Ghana Cedi, which equals about $4,000 USD.
