Guatemala Mission Trip

Hello friends! We are from Action Church of Orlando, Florida. We have received an amazing opportunity to go on a mission trip to Guatemala this June. We will be helping our church family build a school for Guatemalan children. Currently their school has dirt floors and makeshift walls with open holes for windows. The structure that we are going to build will have a permanent roof, concrete walls and floors, and real glass windows. The people in this village rely on natural sunlight because they do not have electricity. For those of you who don’t know us, we are James and Jordan. We are both in high school and are brothers. We have a dream of building something that will make a difference in an impoverished community. The expenses for the trip are $1,750 for each of us which include airfare, lodging, and food. Any donations above and beyond will go towards supplies and tools that our church is purchasing. We are excited to have this opportunity, not only because it’s our first mission trip and our first time out of the country, but more importantly because we will make an impact on another culture around the world.
