Unexpected Surgery
Donation protected
In the early morning hours of September 2, Gary suffered from unbearable abdominal pain and was taken to the ER. After getting images taken and realizing that his pancreas was inflamed, his kidney had ruptured, and there was a large kidney stone stuck in his urinary system, the doctor immediately sent him to a specialist at another hospital.
Upon seeing Gary’s images, the specialist decided to schedule surgery. The surgeon was able to place a stent in the ureter, and blast the kidney stone into smaller pieces, making it easier to pass. Antibiotics were administered which will hopefully take care of the inflamed pancreas.
Surgery went smoothly, but the real bummer in all of this is the fact that Gary does not have medical insurance because it is too costly. Unfortunately, this emergency is going to leave a huge debt to be paid off. And, obviously Gary will be out of work while he heals, and will need help with everyday living expenses until he can return to work.
Please donate anything you can; every little bit helps. And keep the Cluff family in your thoughts and prayers.
