Journey to Bali

I'm learning in life you sometimes just have to leap and your dreams will start coming true.

About 3 months ago I stepped away from stability in my sales job and decided to take on my passion full time! It has been a whirlwind of ups and down (mostly ups) but financially it has been a stretch. The cool thing is I am keeping myself above water in a way I never thought I could by "just teaching". I love that every single day I get to help make people's lives better. I give a lot, and I schedule time in my calendar to give back to myself a bit too. Well I decided to really give back and immerse myself in a 300 hr, 26 day training to better my teaching. I am going to Bali!!!

When: November 25th through December 20th

Why Bali?!? (why not?)

A few months back I was approached with a 300 hr training in the twin cities and while it sounded enticing, I wasn't sure I was ready for it both financially or timewise. I was invited to go be a "body" and take a class of the 300 hr trainees and realized I am ready and I need to make it happen. While all this was happening I had just helped 11 teacher's in training graduate from their yoga sculpt teacher training, one of which shared with us she wanted to do her 200 hr training and decided to do it in Bali (thanks Jen). So here we are believing dreams can come true.

My goal during this training:

Fully immerse myself in learning more about the body and mind connection and how I can be an even better teacher. All while not being distracted by everyday life (ahhh summer of 2012 when I did my 200 hr training).

Get my 500hr Certification (it's like a yogi master degree)

Journal/blog my journey so I can share with others the adventure and probably some eye opening experiences. The joys of #thesweatlife

Learn about a new culture (I'll be in a place i've never been with people from all over the world... cool!!!)

What drew me in to this program?
Read Is this Right for Me? and you'll understand

Also, I recently became a lululemon ambassador and the vision and goal setting really had me thinking if I put my mind to it I can acheive it! Thank you lulu!!

Want to know more about the program?  300 hr Training

So What is this going to cost and why am I raising money?

Training cost (which includes accomodations, 2 meals a day, the training and materials, plus a couple resort perks (I think I saw a massage on there): $6,995.00

**bonus is that I registered early and my best pal is joining me so I am saving a litle bit of money based on that - YAY!**

Transfers from the airport will be $65/each way

Flight: About $1,500 (still looking for the perfect flight)

Misc costs: Dinner expenses and I won't be working back home (what is this no PTO life :)  )

I am already hustling to earn as much as I can and I'm looking at this site as a place for YOU if you can to help me. A few spare dollars from my dear friends and supporters can go a LONG way. I will also be hosting some donation classes around town and looking at designing/selling some T's that will help me to my goal.

THANK YOU in advance for your support of this journey! I can't wait to share it with you along the way!

Check out my blog along the way (or now too) where I will be updating as much as I can about the adventure!

Sincerely your loving teacher, coach, and big dreamer,
