Nicolas Anderson medical

No one wants to hear: "Your son has Duchenne muscular dystrophy." These words were recently said regarding my five year old grandchild, Nicolas. Nico is the youngest member in this family of five. This family is hard working and has a close relationship with God. Obviously the emotional strain is great, but financially it could also be devastating. As we come to terms with this new normal, we are beginning to plan our mission. Mom already has a full day supporting the family of five with daughter 16, son 6 1/2 (w/special needs), and now their youngest, Nicolas with this diagnosis. Moms' unique "normal" schedule will now become even more challenging having two children with special needs. Appointments with different , multiple doctors and physical therapy will make for a very busy, stressful time. My son is an electrician. He has already had to take time off from work for appointments and this is just beginning. His employer is steadfast in their support and prayers for Travis and his family. For that we are eternally grateful. Faith, Love and perseverance has kept this family moving forward. Time is of the essence in keeping up with treatments and a cure. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for the two boys to have as normal a childhood as possible. Discovery, friendships and experiencing the wonders this life has given us. For initial success in this mission, we've set a very high goal of 500K. I'm told this amount is about 1/4 needed. Please reach into the quietest places within yourself and find the strength to help this family. Let's witness firsthand how simple acts of kindness and generosity can make a huge difference. Nico es el miembro más joven de esta familia de cinco. Esta familia trabaja arduamente y tiene una relación cercana con Dios. Por eso estamos eternamente agradecidos. La fe, el amor y la perseverancia han mantenido a esta familia avanzando. El tiempo es esencial para mantenerse al día con los tratamientos y la cura.
