Sierra Letterman/Rose Rage Recovery

Early morning 3/18/18, Sierra Letterman and Alexis Cohen were parking Sierra’s car at a friend’s house when they were struck by a drunk driver in midtown Tulsa. Sierra’s truck was flipped onto the driver’s side onto the sidewalk and ended up pinning her body underneath. Alexis was able to crawl out of the back window relatively unscathed and gathered 6 bystanders to pick the vehicle up off of Sierra to pull her out from under the weight of the truck. As a result of the accident Sierra now has a pelvis broken in multiple places, a broken sternum and bruised lungs, a tear in her bladder, and other assorted complications. She is currently in the ICU undergoing multiple surgeries. Sierra aka Rose Rage is an amazing young woman with a full life. She is a mother, a roller derby player, an artist, a supportive girlfriend, a caring friend and teammate, and just a wonderful person overall. She in no way deserved anything that happened because of someone’s horrible choice to get behind the wheel after drinking. She is nothing but good in this world and makes an impact on everyone she comes into contact with. If you’ve ever skated with her or even just been around her for a short amount of time you know she lights up the room with her smile and positivity. She is one of the toughest women in Tulsa and will fight through this recovery, but it will be long and hard. She is expected to be hospitalized for no less than 6 weeks at this time. Anything earned though this fund aims to help with medical costs accrued through this major ordeal. All goes straight to her and her family, boyfriend Cole and son Max.
