Hi! My name Antonio Briceno. I want to introduce you to my sister Rosa. She is a talented and passionate musician who has devoted her life to conducting, promoting, and teaching symphonic music band in Latin America.
Now she needs your help.
Two years ago, and as a result of medical complications, her right leg was amputated above the knee. Since then, she has not been able to continue to work, particularly teaching young conductors and students across Latin America, something she really loves to do.
To make matters worse, she was diagnosed recently with Leukemia and she is dealing with these conditions in a country that is facing a deep and terrible financial and health crises.
Two days ago, Rosa went in the hospital for emergency brain surgery after loosing consciousness because of a cerebral edema. Thankfully, the surgery was successful, and she is now recovering from that ordeal.
Nevertheless, she’s still fighting leukemia, and she now needs help to obtain all the medicines that will help keep her alive.
Rosa wants to continue teaching and performing as guest conductor throughout Latin America, spreading the rich Musical traditions and history around the region and around the world.
