I never imagined the day would come that I would have to ever turn to a “go fund me” page or even ask for help. My name is Mike Turner. I am in need of new HEART! Yes, when I say this , I think of the Tin man on the Wizard of Oz…LOL…but I’m not the Tin man and the “great ole Oz” can’t help me, But I know a Man much greater that can! It’s a scary process and thing to think about, but with Jesus I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.! I have a family and they need me , as much as I need them! 2 step kids ages 8/9 and a 13 year-old along with my awesome wife. My journey started in 2009 when I was 36 when I was diagnosed with right Coronary Artery Disease, in 2010 I Had a massive heart attack that left me disabled. That was very hard for me, because I have always been a man who worked and earned my way! I’ve tried to help people along the way, though I am not perfect, just a mere man, My heart as always loved people! Since 2009 to present, My cardiologist, Dr. Prempeh from Harbin Clinic has placed 17 stents in my heart. Oct of 2017, he had me transported to Emory University Hospital where Dr. Kunal Bhatt MD and 11 Heart transplant specialist put me on an antibiotic and life giving steroid called Melerone in a picc line. I was given 6 things to consider to do before they would even consider putting me on the heart transplant list. I have accomplished all they asked except raising the money to be on the list. The money is used first, if I die, they will use it cover their expenses and burial…BUT if I live, it will be for medical expenses that is much needed! That is all they require to help save my life. I’m not one to ask, but I am…Please consider first of all, praying and standing in agreement with me, that Jesus is in control and on my side and lastly, any amount you can consider is beyond a blessing to me!
