Help Felix Fly Again!

Felix is a 9 year old whippet/dalmatian mix who has stolen the hearts of hundreds of people over the years. Our sweet boy was injured in 2013 while playing with his dog brother, Gusto. The result was a possible herniated disc in his lower neck that's now pressing down on nerves that control the use of his legs. If you've ever had the fortune of seeing Felix run full hilt, you know that he isn't just running...he was once able to fly. Now, our pup can barely hold himself in a sitting position some days, let alone do wonderful doggy things like play tag, use stairs, climb into bed, or even walk normally. On his worst days, he's hunched and crying in pain. Without surgery, he is at risk of injuring himself further, possibly permanently. After taking him to numerous vets, a chiropractor, and an acupuncturist to try to help, we are now looking at a $5500 surgery on top of his past bills. We are at a loss over this huge number and can only hope for the kindness of those Felix has touched in his life.

For his pet parents, Caleb and Jazmyne, he is their first child, a beautiful, loving soul who makes the family complete. For strangers, he's the gorgeous spotted will-look-like-a-puppy-forever dog with one blue eye and one brown eye who will make you fall in love with him in under ten seconds flat. No matter how Felix has touched you, it's sure to have been a sweet experience.

Now, he needs you to show some love and help him get the surgery that will give him back his legs, and by extension, his wings. Help Felix fly again!
