Community Engagement Project-Uganda
Donation protected
The MMASc Global Health Systems students are heading to Kampala, Uganda for 3 months to get hands on experience with health systems management in a local context. Placements include the kidney foundation, maternal and newborn health, dental research, clean air initiatives and HIV research. This practicum partners with local Ugandans so students can implement class knowledge with practical experience.
During our 3 months in Uganda, we will be participating in a community engagement during our field school. This is where we will help local communities create sustainable ways to increase profit or provide food for their community. Last year the students helped a community to create a Pig Farm and a Bee Farm for different communities across Uganda. In order to start up amazing projects like these, we require funds. Hence why we decided to create this page, all donations will go directly to creating these projects in Ugandan communities. Please help us make this happen, any donation is greatly appreciated! Thank You :)
