HALEY AND SETH RAYMOND

Scarlett Kay Raymond was born Sunday, March 4th after a long labor for Haley and Seth. She weighed 7lbs 2 oz and was 20 1/2” long.  She and Haley were discharged from the hospital on Tuesday.  However, by Thursday afternoon, Haley wasn’t feeling well and ended up in the ER.  After tests, it was determined Haley had a kidney infection and sepsis. They found the right antibiotics for her and she was discharged Saturday. But Saturday morning, things took a turn for Scarlett.  While Haley was still in the hospital, Scarlett stopped breathing. Her grandparents, Brent and Le’Ann Downs,  called 911 and performed CPR ON her. She was taken to the ER and eventually transferred to Cook Childrens. This site was formed to keep everyone up to date on Scarlett. They covet your prayers through this difficult time.  We have set Le’Ann Downs up as the beneficiary to not burden Seth and Haley with having to manage this on top of all the other things going on in their lives.
