Kai’s Surgery

Kai is such a huge light in my life. He’s my best friend and has a huge piece of my heart. Unfortunately Kai has developed mineral stones, there is no known cause as to how he got them. But they lodged into his urethra which then caused him to not eat, drink, urinate, or defecate for 2days. He’s been in a lot of pain the past few days. They have tried many non evasive ways to help move the stones into his bladder. But there was no luck. No I have been transferred to Chico’s animal hospital. They tried the same methods with no luck, which then in turn moved into emergency surgery. There were some complications with his surgery and now they have to keep him an extra day. When I was originally told the bill it was steep, but with the help of my friend we were able to pay it. But as of today the price has doubled and they will not accept payments. I was stuck with the choice or laying him to rest due to the fact I was unable to afford the bill. But my dear friend said no and we will make this work and do what we can to save him. This has been a traumatic situation for me in many ways. So I am reaching out for help in any way to cover his medical expenses from both hospitals. Prayers, positive thoughts, or donations. I appreciate all the help I have received so far. In this process. I am truly grateful and can’t express the gratitude I have.
