Rob McConkey and Family

For those that don't know, Rob's wife, Nancy, lost her battle to cancer earlier this week (November 2, 2017).
This page was setup to up to raise funds amongst his overseas flying fraternity - to support Rob and his children by sending pre-made meals to them once the dust has settled with the chaos of funeral and initial grief.
The plan is to send meals to them through Home Bistro or a similar outfit until the gofundme money runs out, or until Rob tells me to stop. If he gets tired of the meals, or would rather have the cash, we'll distribute what is left over to him to use as he sees fit, so don't fret if we go over the goal of $500. (EDIT: Changed to $1000 after we hit our $500 goal!) We'll make sure he gets it all!
Thanks for helping his overseas family support him in this time of sadness.
God received a new angel this week. We'll continue posting updates here as we get them.

UPDATE 11/6/2017
Got an update from Rob today. Text follows:
"I don’t know what to say. You guys are amazing. Nancy’s wishes were to have a weekend get together of friends and family before she passed which we did the weekend before she did. Her after the fact plans were to rent a cottage on Lake Michigan in the spring so we could have one last family celebration of her life. “ no funeral homes”. She reserved the cottage she always wanted to stay at for March 18-21. Ventura Pines Cottage in holland Mi. It would be amazing to use that money for her celebration at the cottage she reserved. The food is appreciated any time. Give my best to the crew."
So, here's the new COF- I've placed the first order already for food. 20 ready to eat meals are on their way.
Don't let the fact we've hit our goals distract if you are interested in joining in. It sounds like God has a plan for us - We're going to help pay for their cottage that is reserved in March to celebrate Nancy's life.
