Blas “Potes” Lucero Funeral Campaign

Blas Lucero aka "Potes" (pronounced "Po-tez") went to bed on March 5, 2018 as usual after kissing Concepcion, his wife of over 47 years, goodnight. The Lucero family suffered a tragic and unexpected loss early on March 6, 2018 when Potes passed away in his home in Deming, NM. Potes is survived by his wife, four sons and 22 grandchildren. Potes deeply loved his family. He desperately wanted to provide for his family, but he suffered from severe depression as well as several other physical ailments for over a dozen years which greatly hindered his ability to do so. To the best of his ability, at the time of his death, Potes helped care for Concepcion's wheelchair-bound and widowed mother. Potes' passing means the widows must move closer to other family members and medical care. Several family friends have expressed the desire to help. As a family friend, I am asking friends and the public to please pray for the Lucero family as they grieve and transition through the loss of their beloved Potes.
