Baby Barrett's Battle

This is Barrett and he is 3 weeks old today. He is my nephew, Kim(my sister) and Bryan's youngest baby. He has had a rough start. Just after being home a week he started running a low grade temp and spent a week in Huntsville Hospital having a series of test ran and nothing was found to be significantly wrong so he was finally sent home. The next day after being discharged he started having difficulty breathing and was transported back to Huntsville Hospital and has been there since. He was admitted to the PICU for RSV. He stayed 5 days in the unit then graduated to the floor a few days ago but last night around 1am ended up back in PICU. His little body is working too hard to breathe. They have placed him on NIV(noninvasive ventilation) to force oxygen into his lungs. He has developed a fever today and they are doing more blood work to pin point the problem. It is possibly a secondary bacterial infection. He is a very sick baby and needs lots of prayers!!! Please please pray!!! Dad has missed a TON of work between these two week long hospital stays and actually hasn't had a chance to catch up from being off for Baby Barrett's birth. Dad doesn't have any vacation yet bc he is too new on the job. And mom is a stay at home mom of these 2 babies. All funds raised will go to help with living and hospital expenses.
