Cancer Treatment Cost

Where do I begin, I will start with one word that has consumed our lives the the past 3 + years. CANCER ! My husband pictured above was diagnosed with prostate cancer and has been going through treatment ever since. He had a very aggressive form of the disease. In a recent PET Scan it was found in his hip and lymph nodes from the prostate cancer. Also a spot was found in his throat, after closely watching it for 2 months for changes, it had grown and a biopsy was done, which turned out to be a new different type of cancer. He had surgery to remove the tumor, and is now receiving radiation to remove any remaining cancer cells. With that being said this is absolutely the most painful surgery and radiation treatments imaginable. He can’t eat, can’t swallow, at times breathing is difficult. I have seen him literally cry trying to swallow water. He is unable to work, we have exhausted our savings, and our credit cards are maxed out. Anything given will be used to make his treatment and life a little easier. We are having treatment at MD Anderson, in Houston, Texas, so we have two sets of bills. I have called every organization imaginable, and all they do is give you an additional list of people, that will give you another list. I have always donated to many of these organizations, and at this point I know they are not giving the funds to those who need them, they are just using the .org for taxes and to look good. I want to say thank you in advance to anyone who takes the time to read this, and there is no amount to small.
