GLI Trip To Africa

I am Isaiah Soto I am currently a junior in high school who is planning on attending a 4 year university. In my 16 year lifespan I have encountered many adversities which I have not let set me back. I’ve been exposed to living in poverty, however I’ve gained the understanding that, I have been equipped with many characteristics that will allow me to prosper in all that I choose to engage in. In my life I have always been taught to seek to expand my knowledge. That being said I have always had a fascination with Africa and have been accepted to go on a trip on behalf of the Global Livingston Institute and College track which I am a member of. This trip to Africa will be critical in expanding my horizon on education and how to make the communities which I come from or am associated with overall better communities. This trip will give me much growth within my mindset and help me to shape a purpose for my future. So I am trying to raise $2500 in order to cover traveling and medical fees for this amazing opportunity.
