alone w very bad multiple sclerosis

My name is Jeff Schneider. I am a 48 year old disabled geophysicist and I was diagnosed with primary progressive multiple sclerosis, the most debilitating form in 04’. I currently am confined to my powerchair and am loosing use of my arms. I can no longer write and am down to using only my right arm. I cannot stand. I am very slowly becoming an invalid. I could no longer work because of my ms 5 years ago. Things recently took a bad turn when my wife of 15 years, who provided insurance and money decided to divorce me, leaving me to survive on my disibility checks. All of our savings was spent on our expensive divorce. My current issue is I want to stay in my house which has been made handicap accessible in the past. My current disability income pays for my mortgages, Medicare health insurance and some basic cost of living. My current issue is I cannot afford the appropriate qualified 24hr caretakers ($20/hr), required new home handicap modifications, and the brand new approved drug ocrevus, the only drug ever approved for my type of MS (Cost to me $15,000 per year, 20%). I am in the bad situation that I get enough money to not qualify for help but not enough to survive on with proper care. Any help would greatly be appreciated. I have a lifetime of care to pay for, however long that may be. I don’t know what the future holds as my disease progresses and medical costs mount. I don’t want to be confined to an assisted living home!c
